Welcome to the Platinum Ink Tatttoo Company.

PITC was founded in 2010 by Mikael Schelén and Tobias Blomdahl but the location in the Stockholm suburb Kärrtorp was in use a year before that.. under the name “Think Thru Ink”.

The first Platinum Ink was opened in Sydney late 2007, a combination of a high end tattoo parlor and streetwear store… and shortly after Mikael was over in Australia for a guest spot. After meeting great people and loving the whole experience he went back the following year for another great experience.

Back home in Sweden the idea of opening a new shop had been brewing for more than a while and the name Platinum Ink had found a special place in Mikaels heart. So when our friends from Australia came over the summer of 2009, we decided to open up a Platinum Ink in Stockholm Sweden. But it was not until almost a year later we opened the doors to the first Platinum Ink Tattoo Co. in Sweden.

Just months after the first Platinum Ink Tattoo Co. opened the decision was made to open a second one. The plans were put in effect in February 2011 when Platinum Ink Tattoo Co. Najaden opened in Haninge.
